Amerie is back!

The singer announced months ago that she was returning to the studio and since then she’s been teasing some of that new music via social media.

On Friday, the singer surprised her adoring fans with one of the songs she previously teased on her Instagram Live, by dropping the full song as her latest single.

‘Mine‘ is a romantic ballad she co-wrote with the song’s producer, Troy Taylor, who is also crafting the majority of the new album.

The single is her first taste of new music since releasing her joint EPs: ‘4AM Mulholland and After 4AM’ in 2018. The new album will mark her first full-length project since 2009’s ‘In Love & War.’
