Sneak Peek: ‘Scandal’ Creator Shonda Rhimes Set To Rule ABC Thursday’s With New Legal Thriller ‘How To Get Away With Murder’

ABC loves themselves some Shonda Rhimes, and so do the millions of fans that tune in weekly to see her work. Now the creator of the hit shows ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Scandal’ has inked an 8 figure deal with the network and is set to launch a new scripted drama series on the network.

‘How To Get Away With Murder’ will premiere this coming fall season, on the Thursday night lineup after its two successful predecessors. The series will focus around Oscar nominee Viola Davis who portrays criminal defense attorney and professor Annalise DeWitt. 

The show will take the 10-11 time slot formerly occupied by ‘Scandal’ which now moves to 9-10PM on Thursday’s.
