‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta‘ star Shekinah Jo has been going live on Instagram all weekend, addressing the current demonstrations taking place across the country following the murder of George Floyd and other black men and women at the hands of the police.
Shekinah has specifically taken issue with the “protestors” who have destroyed retail stores in Atlanta over the past couple days. The reality star took to Live in tears and anger over the fact that the Gucci store and other stores at Lenox Square/Lenox Mall were looted.

In her over hour-long live, Shekinah continued to criticize protestors, while saying she doesn’t support police shootings but also doesn’t encourage looting or protesting. She also encouraged protestors to go home and stop destroying Atlanta.
Fans were not having it and took to her comments and social media to drag her fiercely.

She then did a series of lives over the course of the weekend attempting to clarify her statements but the damage was done and fans continued to read her down in her live comments.
The dragging didn’t end there. She celebrated her birthday on Sunday and made a celebratory post despite being dragged all weekend. Well, fans refused to let up and took to her comments with more shade.
Shekinah’s remarks also caught the attention of singer Tory Lanez who took to Twitter to address it.
He then took to Live himself to react to ALL black celebrities using their platform to speak against the protests, to which Shekinah went live to react to.
The two later connected on Live and had a tense exchange on the matter.
He followed up by going back to Twitter to let it be known that “he said what he said”
