Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has issued a public apology following the leaking of the now viral 2016 video which shows the disgraced Hip-Hop mogul physically abusing ex-girlfriend Cassie.
The clip that hit the net on Friday (May 17) made its rounds, sparking outrage, disgust, and endless chatter from the public, including Diddy’s peers including former supporters.
On Sunday (May 19), Diddy broke his silence by taking to his social channels to share a public apology, which many noted was aimed more at the public and not directly at Cassie who suffered the abuse.

As expected, the comment section was flooded with shade, support, criticism, and skeptics even calling his apology staged, fake, and a bad “Tubi audition.”
On Sunday, Cassie’s legal team also responded to Diddy’s statement and called it “disingenuous.”
