Tami Roman may not be returning to ‘Basketball Wives’ for their upcoming 10th season as just announced yesterday, but the reality star vet IS returning to VH1 to host an all-new series that will coincide with the new season of BBWs.
On Monday, VH1 announced not only the return of ‘Basketball Wives,’ but also that Tami will be hosting a new docuseries titled ‘Unfaithful: Caught in the Act’ that will also air starting this May. The series will be part of their Monday night block of programming that will also include BBWs, and season 2 of ‘VH1 Couples Retreat.’
The new lineup will kick off on Monday, May 16 at 8 p.m. ET with the premiere of BBWs, followed by the pre ‘VH1 Couples Retreat’ at 9 p.m. ET.
Season 2 will be hosted by Michael Blackson and his fiancée Rada. The cast for this season includes Ronnie DeVoe and Shamari DeVoe as they make their return as a couple to reality TV following their last stint on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ back in season 11. Shamari recently appeared solo on BET & Carlos King’s ‘BET Presents: The Encore.’
The couple recently teased their return to TV by sharing some snaps and videos on the set of a new show doing some confessionals, and now we know ‘Couples Retreat’ is it.
The cast will also include Claudia Jordan and her boyfriend KJ, high school sweethearts Nick Young and Keonna (formerly of ‘Basketball Wives), Styles P (The Lox) and Adjua, and Jess Hilarious and her boyfriend Daniel.
Following that will be the premiere of Tami’s show ‘Unfaithful: Caught in the Act’ at 10 p.m. ET.
According to VH1, the show will follow Tami who serves the host “as she sets out on a mission to empower suspicious lovers to catch their cheating partners in the act. With the help of a relationship expert and a private investigator, Tami will uncover the shocking truths and get the receipts to expose the cheats.”
