As we told you, NPR has been rolling out new episodes of its wildly popular Tiny Desk concert series in honor of Black Music Month for the past two weeks.
The roster which includes previously released sets from the legendary, Charlie Wilson and Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds was announced by R&B crooner Tank–and now after also serving as one of the background singers for Babyface’s set, the ‘Sex, Love & Pain’ performer is taking center stage.
On Wednesday, NPR unveiled Tank’s concert which is jam-packed with his solo hits, as well as hits he’s penned. He also followed Babyface’s lead by recruiting a few of his friends to serve as his background singers courtesy of Luke James, Brooke Valentine, and Lonny Bereal.
The singer not only belted out his own hits, but delivered some that he has written for others including Omarion, Jamie Foxx, and LeToya Luckett. Get into it below.
