It appears the beef is over!
Kanye West has reunited with his brother, JAY-Z for a new track on his tenth studio album ‘Donda’ which arrived on Friday.
As previously reported, Yeezy held an album listening event at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday night. The packed-out stadium full of fans was able to preview the entire project which features collaborations with Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Pusha T, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, and more.
It was the final closing song though that had the entire arena shook, as JAY’s vocals blared over the track on a verse that Hov reportedly completed just hours earlier that day.
The song serves as Ye and JAY’s first collaboration since Drake’s ‘Pop Style’ in 2016 as the longtime friends have been estranged for years now.
The two briefly reunited at Diddy’s 50th birthday back in December 2019. Kanye previously admitted that he felt hurt when JAY and Beyoncé didn’t show up to his and Kim Kardashian’s wedding in 2014. He called out the couple on stage during his “Saint Pablo Tour” in 2016 and other various times.
Now it appears all is well and the past is behind them. Get into a preview of the track below.
