They say if you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself! And as it relates to the ladies of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ they are doing just that and taking matters into their own hands!
Just a week ago the season 14 teaser trailer and cast photo were released, and while many fans were pleased with the reveal, some dedicated fans felt that Bravo had dropped the ball with the Georgia peaches.
For years, fans have expressed their frustration with the RHOA getting the short end of the stick when it comes to cast photos, group trips, intro looks, and other behind-the-scenes production elements.
Specifically, considering that RHOA for years was the network’s highest-rated Housewives franchise and continues to be one of the most popular despite a small rating slump over the past few seasons.
Well, on Monday, a new cast photo was released that some thought came via Bravo but it turns out the shoot was staged by the ladies themselves.
Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Sheree Whitfield, Marlo Hampton, Drew Sidora, and Sanya Richards-Ross came together to facilitate their own photoshoot and fans are loving it way more than the Bravo released one.
The ladies shared two versions of the photo, one with a peach-themed background, and another showing the original unedited photo which was orchestrated by photographer, Erick Robinson.

Get into just a few of the responses to the new photo.
So we all agree the “all white” look is the official cast photo now? #RHOA pic.twitter.com/aHpQsPiWfT

I believe this photoshoot is completely separate from Bravo and is done entirely by an outside photographer. Our ATL girls taking the promo into their OWN hands! #RHOA pic.twitter.com/e5bpEUVaQ7

Bravo really doesn’t deserve #RHOA… For the cast to even go all out and arrange that hot cast photo on their own when they are literally Top 2 and not #2 across the entire franchise???. Sickening pic.twitter.com/4S4FKFhaaE

The Peaches going out and getting this done themselves is amazing! Black women are the standard. You don’t do something right, Black women will go and get it done 10x better. I love this! This is a true sisterhood. #RHOA https://t.co/5YfOYcaiw7

The photographer behind the shoot (Erick Robinson) also took to social media to tease that there is more on the way from his shoot with the ladies.
I really hope y’all don’t think that’s all me and the #RHOA did… more is on the way! I promise you, the ladies didn’t come to play games. Just wait on it… 😏🔥📸
It’s time to showcase our beautiful queens in the best light!
