In the wake of the murders of Alton Sterling and most recently Philando Castile this week, both taken at the hands of police officers sworn in to protect and serve, I felt that today’s Throwback Thursday had to be a song that speaks to the times that we are living in.
Hell, the times we have always lived in, and there is one song that always comes to mind when these types of injustices happen. Today’s TBT comes courtesy of the late King of pop, Michael Jackson‘s “They Don’t Care About Us” which served as the fourth single from his album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I, released on March 31, 1996.
