Toni Braxton is shutting down reports that broke over the holiday weekend, that she and longtime beau, Birdman secretly married.
The unconfirmed reports began spreading online just the day before NYE from an unsubstantiated blog post claiming the couple were spotted in Mexico and had reportedly gotten married while there.
As the news spread online, further reports claimed that the two had actually married back in July 2023 in Mexico and that the news was just unveiled.

While there was no proof, marriage certificate, or other sources to confirm the news, Toni’s sister, Tamar Braxton took to IG Live to question the news.
Tamar revealed that she was not aware of the marriage, but had reached out to their mom, Evelyn Braxton to get confirmation–which she did not.

Well, Toni herself got wind of the rumors and took to IG to shut down the reports screenshotting the post making its rounds with the caption:
“My dear friend @birdman and I are not married…never been married. We are both single.”
