Some changes are coming to TV One‘s hit daytime talk show ‘Sister Circle Live‘ as they move forward into a new season of the show which was recently renewed.
Over the past few months you may have seen that the original co-hosts, veteran radio host Rashan Ali, “Married to Medicine” reality star Quad Webb-Lunceford, R&B singer Syleena Johnson and comedienne Kiana Dancie have been joined by other guests co-host on days when the hosts were out on sick leave or working on other projects.
One of those guest co-host was singer/reality star, Trina Braxton who subbed several times on the show over the past few months. Well it looks like that screen time conveyed well and has now secured the ‘Braxton Family Values‘ star a full time permanent spot on the show according to an official statement provided to Jojocrews.
Lisa Kridos, vice president of original programming and development, TEGNA. “We are thrilled that Trina Braxton is joining the ‘Sister Circle’ family. From her musical roots as part of the legendary Braxton sisters and continuing to star with her famous family on ‘Braxton Family Values,’ Trina brings a unique perspective to ‘Sister Circle’ with her honest and candid perspective on relationships, motherhood, and managing it all.”
In an additional statement executive producer Helen Swanson said Braxton subbed in a couple of times and she immediately liked the chemistry with the other ladies and found her “soulfulness” attractive.
Trina will be replacing Kiana Dancie who will be departing the show, as Trina’s official start date is Monday, September 10. Dancie’s last day will be Tuesday, August 21 according to AJC.
In other Trina news, the singer is gearing up to launch her new restaurant as she joins forces with Henn Quarter in D.C. to now make the location her second Bar Chix restaurant. Congrats to Trina on all her upcoming ventures!
