Usher is paying homage to one of the pioneers of urban music, the late Frankie Beverly.

Following the death of the legendary performer last week, Usher took to the stage during the Detroit stop of his ‘Past Present Future Tour’ to honor Beverly.

The singer visited the D for two shows on September 12-13 and performed a Frankie Beverly classic for mourning fans.
