The Prince Georges County, MD teacher who went viral and divided social media over video he shared of him allowing female students to unbraid his hair in class, is breaking his silence.
The teacher, Marquise White known on social media as JaQ Lee, set social media ablaze days ago when he posted a video of himself in class allowing his students to unbraid his hair.
The incident took place at the Maya Angelou French Immersion school in Hillcrest Heights, MD.
The clip went viral instantly and became a hot social media topic with debates on whether his actions were inappropriate or not.
Days later, it was reported that Lee was either fired or under investigation from his school district as a result of the video.
While initially he took to social media to clap back at his critics when the video first went viral, Lee has been radio silent in the past few days.
On Friday, (May 17) he unveiled a new video where he responds and addresses all the chatter, and rumors, and gives his side on the matter.
