Vivica A. Fox reunited with her on-screen son, Brandon Hammond, who played the role of Ahmad in the cult classic film ‘Soul Food‘ in 1997.
The reunion came via a post made to Brandon’s official Instagram page this week where he teased that the two have something in the works.
Always an amazing time when @msvfox and I get together. I cherish it each and every time. ☺️ Thank you, V, for being such a supportive, loving and inspiring person in my life. 🙏🏾I love you, dearly. 🤗 ❤️And, I can’t wait for everyone to see what we got “cookin’” (get it? 😜 lol)

The reunion sighting comes months after Vivica appeared on ‘Sherri’ in December, revealing that she has plans to executive produce a ‘Soul Food’ sequel that follows the lives of the sisters and their now grown children.
It also comes after Vivica reunited with some of their co-stars in March 2024 on GMA in honor of the film coming to streamers for its 27th anniversary last year.
This isn’t the duo’s first time reuniting since 1997. The two reunited during COVID in 2020 for a Mother’s Day live on Facebook.
