While doing promo for his album ‘Nothing Was The Same’ rapper Drake stopped by 106 &Park to talk the album, and help make a special announcement. As confirmed by BET Angela Simmons role as co-host was only for a summer run and was due to end in shortly after the summer. An official announcement of her permanent replacement was not made, until this week.

Drake took to the stage to introduce his Toronto native and friend, Keshia Chante. If you are not familiar with Keshia Chante and her music, you may remember that she was a front runner for the role of Aaliyah in her movie which has been in the works. Check out the announcement below.
