Janet Jackson appeared Friday night at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards where she was honored with the Impact Award presented to her by Raven Symone and former Fifth Harmony singer, Normani.
During her acceptance speech, Jan thanked her mother Katherine Jackson, and her father, Joe Jackson who is reportedly is in stage 4 of terminal cancer and in his last days. The award comes just a month after she was bestowed the Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards.
Janet is also gearing up to headline Essence Festival next weekend, as well as head back out on the road for the next leg of her ‘State of The World Tour.’ Get into the clip of Jan’s latest honor below.
