Just last week it was reported that FOX and the producers of ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ are gearing up to move forward with plans to welcome Sherri Shepherd as the permanent full-time guest host of the show.
The reports claimed that while the network is hopeful for Wendy Williams‘ return and is keeping a close eye on her progress, they have a backup plan to usher Sherri in as the show’s host for the new season in September.
On Wednesday, Wendy broke her silence by appearing in a new video filmed by her son Kevin Jr. as she walked along the beach in Miami–where she has been spending time with Kevin and family for the past few months while on hiatus from her show.
In the clip, Wendy dishes on her time away, recovering, her daily routine, and reveals that she indeed does miss New York and plans to return “stronger” than before.
Kevin also shared a snap of Wendy with her dad celebrating his 91st birthday on Wednesday to his Instagram story.
