Wendy Williams is showing no signs of coming back to her hit daytime talk show anytime soon, as it was just announced that more guest hosts are being brought in to assist through the rest of November.
Last week Whitney Cummings and Leah Remini held it down as hosts of ‘The Wendy Williams Show‘ while Sherri Shepherd has been filling in all this week. Now the show has announced that starting next week, the fellas will be getting a turn at hosting duties. According to the official announcement, Bill Bellamy, Jerry Springer, and more will guest host over the next two weeks.
The Wendy Williams Show is excited to announce that actor and comedian and good friend to the show, @michaelrapaport will be guest hosting the week of November 8th. The following week kicks off with an all-new hot talk panel on Monday, November 15th. Then, actor and comedian @BillBellamy will take the reins on Tuesday, November 16th and Wednesday, November 17th. Later that week, legendary talk show host @judgejerrytv and fellow daytime host @thestevewilkosshow will be filling in on Thursday, November 18th and Friday, November 19th.

The news comes amid reports that the shows ratings have increased, despite Wendy’s absence.
“The Wendy Williams Show” jumped 33% in household ratings the week ending Oct. 24, which did not feature Wendy Williams. Instead, guests hosts filled in for Williams while she recovers from health issues.
The Season 13 (delayed) premiere week posted a 0.8 rating, up from the previous week’s 0.5. The syndicated talk show had been in reruns, which of course helps explain away at least some of the ratings gain. The same week last year received a 0.9 rating — though overall downward trends make it difficult to assign blame or praise to this particular performance.
Leah Remini filled in for four days of the successful return to new shows. The premiere episode on Oct. 18 was hosted by a panel that included Devyn Simone, Bevy Smith, Elizabeth Wagmeister and Michael Yo.
Season 13 of “The Wendy Williams Show” had been delayed multiple times, first due to a breakthrough case of COVID-19 and then later to unspecified medical issues.
Wendy has been “dealing with ongoing health issues” that prevented her from participating in promotional activities for the new season of her daytime talk show, though no further details have been shared publicly. In the past, the host has taken several breaks from the show, citing complications with Graves disease and a battle with addiction.
