Wendy Williams will be making her first national television appearance in several years by joining an upcoming episode of ‘The View.’
The daytime diva will be a guest on the Thursday (March 13) episode of the series marking her first return to the show since 2021, and her live televised interview in years.
The news comes after the former daytime Queen did a slew of interviews earlier this year where she addressed her conservatorship, her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, and the claims she is “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”
That round of interviews with Don Lemon, Jason Lee, ‘The Breakfast Club,’ and ‘TMZ’ helped prompt the viral ‘Free Wendy’ campaign and the ‘TMZ Presents: Saving Wendy’ documentary.
Now, Wendy will be appearing on ‘The View’ to dish on what has transpired since then.
Her former executive-producer, Suzanne Bass took to social media on Sunday to share a tease of her on a call with Wendy, as she prepares for the interview.

Wendy’s niece, Alex Finnie appeared on TMZ last year to discuss the then-released “Where Is Wendy Williams?” documentary, and to chat about the ongoing chatter around Wendy’s health, and well-being.
Stay tuned!
