Endless rumors of Brandy joining season 2 of FOX’s ‘Empire’ were possibly put to rest on Monday when the singer was spotted with the cast at the FOX Upfront presentation. Following the news that the show was set to return this fall and will have double the episodes it did last season, the R&B belle posed with the entire cast and Lee Daniels himself.
The press event, which is held to tout the shows on the 2015-2016 season, is typically only attended by the talent on the programming being promoted and Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett, Yazz, Jennifer Hudson, and Timbaland – who executive produces the music on the series were all in attendance with Bran at their sides.
Brandy is currently slaying the stage every night on her Broadway run in Chicago as Roxie Hart, working on her upcoming album AND gearing up for her new BET sitcom which she will be the lead star in. 2015 is shaping up to be a great year for Brandy!
