As the Janet Jackson hoopla surrounding her recent alleged comments regarding Kamala Harris continues to make waves on social media and online, many are chiming in on the matter.

There have been a slew of developments including the release of her interview with ‘The Guardian’ where the comments reportedly stemmed from, then the release of a reported apology by the singer’s reps, then another rep denying the initial apology was authorized.

Following some harsh criticism online from the likes of DL Hughley, and others, Janet has found support from Whoopi Goldberg.

The always outspoken personality came to the defense of Janet during Monday’s episode of ‘The View’ during its Hot Topics segment.
