Fox Television has picked up the Debmar- Mercury talker to extend through the 2024-2025 TV season.

The news comes as a major win for what started as a temporary fill-in role for Wendy Williams on her daytime talk show while she was battling health challenges during the 14th season of her show.

Sherri guest hosted for several months as fans awaited the return of Wendy before it was later announced that Wendy would not be returning and ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ was officially canceled by Debmar-Mercury and FOX and they would be focusing on launching Shepherd’s new talk show ‘Sherri.’

The freshman series kicked off in September and has been a rating winner for the network and became the No. 1 new nationally syndicated daytime talk show. which makes the renewal no surprise.

Sherri dished on her excitement surrounding the renewal.

“I launched this show with the mission to give daytime viewers a ‘good time,’ just like my theme song says,” she said. “I am so appreciative that Fox and Debmar-Mercury have partnered with me to continue bringing more laughter, joy and inspiration to my audience.”
