Azealia Banks is having the worst week ever! After just being annihilated on Twitter by 14 year old Skai Jackson on Tuesday night (May 10) following an attack on singer Zayn Malik, Banks was just delivered more bad news, but no one feels sorry for her.
The rapper was set to headline an upcoming Born & Bred Festival in the UK but due to her Tuesday night rant which was aimed at Zayn, but also contained racist, homophobic and other offensive tweets, UK radio station Rinse FM announced that it has dropped the fiery MC.
In their official announcement, the station clarified that “Rinse/Born & Bred Festival is a celebration of rave culture and has been created for EVERYONE. We celebrate inclusivity and equality.”

The rapper also took aim at the UK music scene, the very place she was set to headline. In a Periscope, she called grime a “disgrace to rap culture in general” and said that “y’all niggas in the UK cannot fucking rap.” This prompted a series of angry responses from UK artists including Lily Allen, MNEK, and more.
After it was announced she was being cut as the headliner, Banks took to Twitter to issue a half ass apology to those she offended.
Perhaps being cut was the best, she just avoided another potential incident such as this…
