Well it looks like the love that Danity Kane has been receiving since announcing their reunion has inspired their one time brother band Day 26. The former Bad Boy Records group that started with the five members Robert Curry, Brian Angel, Willie Taylor, Anthony “Que” Mosley, and Michael McCluney were definitely on the come up after the release of their debut album in 2008 shortly after taking the crown during their season of MTV’s ‘Making The Band’.
As documented on the hit reality show the group faced some internal issues amongst the members and shortly after the release of their sophomore album in 2009 member Que left the group and attempted to pursue a solo career. The guys continued on with four members before ultimately disbanding in 2012.
The guys apparently have worked out their differences and have announced that they will be reuniting with all original five members.
Member Brian Angel wrote on Twitter, “Several shows left & I gotta finish this project. But trust & believe, I’m 100% committed to a huge 2014 for #Day26 & our fams! Love yall!!!”
McCluney also retweeted the tweet, “YALL GET READY! @MrAngel_day26 @RobertOfDay26 @WillieTaylor @Mike_day26 #ANTHONYQUE #DAY26 IS BAAAAACK!!!”
In their official press release the group divulged details including past MTB buddies they will be bringing on the road with them:
“The time has finally come and it’s official. Promoters, radio stations, bloggers, magazines be a part of this amazing reunion that the fans been begging for “DAY26 THE REUNION TOUR”
Featuring all 5 members of the group & Donnie Klang & DeAngelo Redman/members from making the band 4..All together on 1 Stage for the world to enjoy.”
