The Braxton sisters will return for a second season of their new reality series ‘The Braxtons’ which wrapped its first season last Summer.
The new series was their return to television following the ending of ‘Braxton Family Values’ which ran for seven seasons on WEtv from 2011 to 2020.
While the original show followed the lives of the family, including Toni, Tamar, Towanda, Trina, Traci, and Evelyn Braxton, the new series picked up a couple of years after the death of Traci.
Season 1 ran from August to September of 2024, and while the network hasn’t confirmed that there will be a season 2, Tamar Braxton has teased an early announcement.
During a recent interview, the ‘Love & War’ singer revealed that she would be returning for season 2 in a full-time capacity following a “friend” role last season.
She also revealed that their niece, Ashlee Braxton is joining the show following recent allegations she made against one of her aunts that went viral.

Ashlee, daughter of Michael Braxton Jr., opened up on social media over the holiday season last year revealing that one of her famous aunts cut her off.
Ashlee revealed that the drama had to do with an older man that was in a relationship with one of her aunts, and involved inappropriate conversations while she was a minor.
She is 32 years old now and opened up on a series of videos she shared to her social media accounts about the trauma she’s dealt with since then.
She also teased that she would be moving back to the States to meet with family to address the matters, after moving overseas years ago following the death of her sister.

It looks as though, fans will get to see the drama play out in season 2 according to Tamar.
The news comes just weeks ahead of the premiere of Tamar and Evelyn’s new show, ‘Cooking Sessions with Tamar Braxton and Ms. E,’ which will premiere on March 26 on CLEO TV.
