It’s that time of year! The 2019 BET Awards are upon us, and on Friday (May 18) the official nominees list was released, and many of your faves are rounding out the roster.

As expected, Hip Hop’s current Queen, Cardi B is leading the pack with seven nominations including two for Video of the Year for ‘Money’ and ‘Please Me,’ featuring Bruno Mars. She also earned nods for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Viewers’ Choice Award, and Album of the Year for her debut ‘Invasion of Privacy.’

Drake follows up in second, with five nominations, while Beyonce, Ella Mai, Chris Brown, Nipsey Hussle and many more land some major nods. The category to watch is of course, Best Female Hip Hop which will see Cardi face off against Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, and new comers, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion and Kash Doll.
