In what will come as frustrating news, it appears after an hours long standoff with Los Angeles Police Department, Chris Brown has been arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon..
As I told you earlier today, the standoff started after a woman, Baylee Curran called 911 claiming that Brown threatened her with a weapon while she was in his home. The former beauty queen reportedly was a guest of a friend of Brown’s, and was not invited by Chris.
The woman claims that after she eyed a piece of jewelry in his home, Chris threatened her and told her to leave the property. The woman called the police, they arrived and camped out at Chris’ home for hours until a warrant was issued. Now Breezy is in custody. Via Fox:
Los Angeles police say they’ve arrested singer Chris Brown on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Police Lt. Chris Ramirez says Brown was arrested Tuesday and was being taken to downtown Los Angeles for booking.
The arrest came after a lengthy search of Brown’s home.
Brown says in video posts on Instagram that he’s innocent and rebutted reports that he had barricaded himself in his home.
Baylee Curran told the Los Angeles Times that Brown pointed a gun at her face in his home early Tuesday. She says another man at his home and Brown became angry with her when she admired the man’s diamond necklace.
Curran hasn’t responded to requests for comment from The Associated Press.
