Black Twitter is on fire today following an exclusive interview with Charlamagne Tha God where he sat down with Gucci Mane and things got a little awkward.
During the sit-down, Charlamagne and Gucci discussed his new album, his marriage, life regrets, being drug-free and much more. However, it was the portion of the interview where Charlamagne’s ‘The Breakfast Club‘ co-hosts–DJ Envy and Angela Yee came up–and it got really tense.

Once the interview hit the net, social media went in on the fact that Charlamagne did not defend his co-workers/friends to Gucci. While some were on his side, others felt that Charlamagne was a “sell out.”

I disagree, they got all the air time to speak on Gucci and his wife how they saw fit (granted Charla wasn’t there). Gucci now has his opportunity to respond & state how he feels in defense. Charlamagne also stated that he wanted to get both sides together via phone call

Following the interview, DJ Envy took to Twitter to reveal that Charlamagne did indeed let him know what Gucci said in advance of the airing.
