It seems like the trend nowadays for artist to announce their retirement only to retract their statement. Chris Brown, Toni Braxton who later opted to continue on and recently Britney Spears toyed with the idea of stepping away from the mic. Now in a shocking move, Justin Bieber has added himself to that list.
The pop titan tweeted over the Christmas holiday news that I’m sure his fans weren’t expecting as their gift from him. Following the declaration, he also issued a tweet which implied that he would “never leave” his fans, adding a bit of confusion to his original statement.Peep his tweet below
The media talks a lot about me.They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I’m never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.

he also appeared on Power 106 last week and joked that he would be retiring and his manager later stated that they do want him to take a break after his current projects are wrapped:
“I’m telling him after this movie, I want him to take next year off and just take a break. He can still live in the studio and work on the next album, which is what he wants to do, but I just want him to take some time to himself, so he can have that time alone cause he’s been working since he was 12 years old.”
Bieber’s new movie Believe just hit theaters Christmas day and his brand new album Journals also dropped this week just in time for the holiday and has already hit the no. 2 spot on iTunes.
Do you believe Justin will retire? Do you care?
