All everyone is still talking about is Beyoncé following her highly anticipated performance at Sunday’s Superbowl 50 Halftime Show. Unless you were under a rock, you saw as Bey slayed the stage with the first live performance of her new single “Formation” which debuted only a day earlier along with its epic video.

Well following the performance, Entertainment Tonight cameras caught up with Bey backstage at the Superbowl and she opened up for the first time on her new track.

“It makes me proud,” Beyonce told ET’s Kevin Frazier, who caught up with the singer at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, after the halftime show ended.

For Beyonce, “Formation” is more than just another song — she wants it to have a positive impact on her fans’ lives.

“I wanted people to feel proud,” Beyonce said of the new single, “and have love for themselves.”

Bey also revealed her highlight of the night: “The best part was seeing Coldplay,” Get into the clip of her quick interview below.
