Immediately when the news broke that Beyonce was pregnant with twins, which is a high risk pregnancy, fans began speculating the status of her headlining set for Coachella music festival in April.

Well up until now the word was that Bey was still going to take the stage, but on Thursday (Feb.23) her team has released an official statement to the Associated Press, revealing she will not be performing.

“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”

Totally understandable, and expected.
