Big Tigger is breaking his silence after a week of serious allegations, social media speculation, and nonstop conversation surrounding his marriage to Alicia Brown.
The longtime radio personality and former BET Rap City host returned to his platform this week as the situation surrounding his personal life continued to unfold publicly.
The drama began after Alicia Brown shared emotional posts online showing visible injuries and made comments that led many social media users to believe she was accusing her husband of abuse. She also mentioned Tigger’s V-103 morning show co-host Francesca Amiker, sparking additional speculation about alleged infidelity.
As the posts spread, the conversation quickly took over social media. Many users expressed concern for Alicia, while others began questioning what happened, what was verified, and what was being assumed based on posts and commentary.
According to reports, police documents later identified Big Tigger, whose real name is Darian Morgan, as a suspect in a domestic dispute investigation connected to Alicia Brown’s reported injuries. However, the documents did not confirm what caused the injuries, and as of the latest reports, no criminal charges had been announced.
After days of public silence, Big Tigger addressed the situation directly, denying the allegations.
“I want to say categorically that these allegations and accusations that have been circulating are false,” he said in a statement shared on Instagram.
Tigger also addressed the speculation involving Francesca Amiker, making it clear that he says their relationship has only been professional and friendly.
“Francesca and I have never been anything more than friends and respected colleagues,” he said, while also apologizing to her for the way her name became part of the public conversation.
Amiker had previously released her own statement denying the affair allegations, saying the claims being circulated about her were “completely false” and did not reflect her character.
In another update, Alicia Brown also issued a clarification through media personality Loren LoRosa, stating, “I have never called my husband an abuser.” She said social media drew its own conclusions from information that was shared, but those conclusions were not direct statements she made. Alicia also said she respects the legal process and believes law enforcement should be allowed to do its job without interference.
The entire situation has been messy, emotional, and very public — especially because all parties involved are recognizable figures in media and entertainment. Big Tigger has been a staple in hip-hop and radio for decades, and Francesca Amiker recently joined The Big Tigger Morning Show on Atlanta’s V-103, which made the allegations and online speculation hit even harder in real time.
