Just yesterday we told you that Timbaland confirmed that Brandy was in the process of signing on to join in on an upcoming ‘Verzuz‘ battle.
While fans had demanded one with her and Monica, Timb did not confirm the person that Brandy would face off with, and now it looks like that was intentional.
According to Brandy herself, from what she was last informed Monica has declined the opportunity entirely. Bran took to Instagram live for an interview with Atlanta’s V103 and revealed that Monica has decided she does not want to participate.

Monica had previously stated that she would be open to the battle only if it was structured as a celebration and not a battle since the two ladies have been pitted against each other for all of their careers.
