Brandy's 'B7' Debuts at #1 on Billboard Current R&B, R&B/Hip Hop, and Independent Charts+#4 On Top Albums and the Top Current Charts

Brandy and her dedicated fans have much reason to celebrate, as the singer’s latest album ‘B7‘ made a big splash on the Billboard Charts after arriving on July 31.

The album which was released independently via the singers imprint Brand Nu Entertainment with Entertainment One (“eOne”) officially debuted at #1 on the Current R&B, the Current R&B/Hip Hop, and the Independent Chart this week according to Nielsen. The album also debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top Albums and the Top Current Charts.

The project is the singer’s first studio album in 8 years and is the follow up to 2012’s ‘Two Eleven.’ The 15 track album was executive produced by Brandy who co-wrote the entire album for the first time in her career, along with DJ Camper and LaShawn Daniels.

Brandy took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and making the album chart so well.
