Brandy‘s fan-fave album ‘Never Say Never‘ will be celebrating its 24th anniversary next month (June 9), and ahead of that comes some exciting news for the singer and her devoted fans.
On Monday (May 9), it was announced that the album is now eligible for Diamond status with over 10 million copies sold in the United States alone. The album (which is her highest-selling album to date) had previously received diamond status with over 10 million copies sold worldwide, but now the boost brings its tally to over 16 million worldwide.

The album’s previous United States certifications are as follows: June 22, 1998 (GOLD), June 22, 1998 (PLATINUM), September 2, 1998 (2x PLATINUM), December 8, 1998 (3x PLATINUM), January 22, 1999 (4x PLATINUM), and December 22, 1999 (5x PLATIMUM) according to the RIAA.
Her RIAA certifications for the album have not been updated since but should be soon with her updated totals reflected. Brandy took to Instagram to react to the exciting news with her fans.
