Sunday night, Bravo aired the fourth and final part of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac‘ reunion which featured Nicki Minaj taking over hosting duties from Andy Cohen.
While Nicki grilled all of the ladies and threw some lowkey shade at several of them, it seemed to be Candiace Dillard Bassett who got a lot of Nicki’s jabs directly. Nicki grilled Candiace on her vocal ability and called her out for using autotune in her tracks, prompting Nicki to request that “Candy Girl” sing live on the spot.
The messiness went even further when Nicki questioned the album sales and streams that Candiace has received on her singles and new album ‘Deep Space.’ This moment got super awkward as the ladies took a brief break to have Andy come back in to return to his duties, and Candiace’s husband, Chris Bassett came back to the stage to express his frustration with Nicki’s shade and line of questioning.
Well, apparently Nicki was watching and caught his behind-the-scenes commentary prompting her to take to Twitter to address him. Check out the second slide below to see the awkward moment.

While some followers took to the comments to come for Chris, Nicki also received some shade from viewers suggesting that she is the last person to be concerned about someone else’s husband considering her hubby’s past
Nicki tried to low key shade Candiace’s talent… from her album sells, her singing etc., she put her on the spot thinking Candiace would fail. But Candiace didn’t. Chris is doing what any HUSBAND should do defend and support his wife! Kudos to him
