She’s done it AGAIN!

After previously tieing with Nicki Minaj as the only two female rappers to receive a diamond certification for singles of 10 million in the United States, now Cardi B bested Minaj just in time for her 30th birthday yesterday (October 11).

Up until now, Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Super Bass’ was tied with Cardi’s #1 hits ‘I Like It’ and ‘Bodak Yellow’ respectively for the only three diamond-certified female rap songs in history confirmed by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

On Tuesday, RIAA announced that Cardi had surpassed that previous record by now reaching 11x Platinum status of 11 million copies sold for each song ‘I Like It’ and ‘Bodak Yellow’ while Minaj remains at 10 million for ‘Super Bass.’

The feat now makes Cardi the first female rapper to receive such a certification this high and breaks a two-way tie with her rival for the highest-certified song by a female rapper in history.

US Certifications (@RIAA): @iamcardib, Bodak Yellow 11x Platinum (11,000,000).
