The season 2 premiere of ‘Love & Marriage: DC’ is just days away, and after it was announced weeks ago that Monique Samuels and husband, Chris Samuels were out for the sophomore season and quitting reality TV, the remaining cast is stepping up to the plate, delivering major drama for viewers.
As previously announced, season 2 will see the return of couples Erana Tyler and Jamie Tyler and Ashley Silva and her husband, on-air personality DJ Quicksilva, as well as season 1 “friend of the show” Winter who returns in a full-time capacity.
Joining the second season of the series in place of Monique and Chris are Joi Carter and Clifton Pettie, whom fans of ‘Ready to Love’ will be familiar with from their time on season 5 of the hit OWN reality show. After departing the show last year, the couple became engaged on September 19, 2022 during a live taping of ‘Good Day DC.’
