Tuesday night the American Music Awards aired live on ABC and with it came performances and appearances from some of music’s hottest stars to celebrate their accomplishments this past year.
Clearly one of the highlights and arguably the best performance of the night came from none other than Cardi B, who also (tied with Drake) held the most nominations of the night–eight in total.
After winning ‘Favorite Artist in the Rap/Hip-Hop’ Cardi took to the stage to perform her Billboard No.1 hit “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin. She then snagged a few more trophies, racking up 3 in total of her 8 nods for the night including ‘Best Rap/Hip Hop Song’ and ‘Best Soul/R&B Song’ for “Finesse’ with Bruno Mars.
