Drake will have much reason to celebrate, as according to Nielsen SoundScan the YMCMB rapper’s third album ‘Nothing Was The Same’ has debuted at the no.1 spot on Billboard. Drake brought in a whopping 658,000 copies sold in his first week, making him the second highest first week opening this year only behind Justin Timberlake’s ‘The 2o/20 Experience’ which did 968,000 first week.
The interesting thing however is that Justin’s ‘The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2’ just dropped today(Oct 1) so we will see next week if the 2nd set will boast the same highs at its predecessor. Either way, congrats to drizzy for a great first week!
