The fellas of TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine, Tank) have great reason to celebrate this week, as it was announced that their album ‘Three Kings’ debuted at #3 on Billboard Hot 100. The album, which by the way has been on non-stop rotation over here since it dropped, also debuts at #1 on the R&B charts. The album moved an impressive 70,195 units its first week.
This certainly proves to be a great feat for the trio, considering 1) The current state of R&B album sales and 2) The fact that despite having two singles ‘I Need’ & ‘Sex Never Felt Better’, they didn’t have an extensive promo campaign with the exception of their recently wrapped tour and select promo dates. It appears that the fan bases of all three crooners rallied together in support of that good ol’ R&B. Congratulations to the gentlemen and in case you haven’t copped the album yet, here are a few reasons why you should.
