Keshia Knight Pulliam did her one and only interview yesterday (July 28) speaking out on being blindsided by her estranged husband Ed Hartwell after he filed for divorce days ago. The pregnant actress revealed during her emotional interview, that she had no desire to make their divorce a public matter and had no plans to do any other interviews or speaking out on the matter.
Well apparently, Ed has no plans to let Keisha get off that easy. The former NFL player booked his own interview today (July 29) Page Six via Skype to reveal his marriage to Keshia was torn apart by jealousy, disagreements about starting a family and suspicions about infidelity on both sides.
He even says that Keshia basically rushed and tricked him into having a baby despite his wishes to not have a child so early in their marriage.
“She wanted a baby really fast, and what I was trying to explain to her was that — from my beliefs, from seeing other successful people — that when you first get married, especially since we didn’t have a long courtship, that we should actually focus on each other and not just have a baby. That’s something she really did want to do.”
“I said, ‘I think we probably messed up. I think we moved too fast. Our lives and wants are headed two different directions.’”
As it pertains to the allegations that he wants a paternity test from her, he doesn’t deny it and says he can’t say that he is not sure if she has been totally faithful.
“I can’t say she’s been unfaithful. I can say she’s stayed out, she’s not came home, she’s went out-of-town … for three days, I don’t know what’s going on. I can say that. I can’t say she was unfaithful. I can say she wanted to get in vitro, I can say she wanted to do some things to make sure she got pregnant. I just want to make sure it is mine.”
