Cynthia Bailey is feeling very remorseful about the fight that went down between she and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Porsha Williams and she is taking accountability for the big part that she played in the matter.

As you recall in last week’s episode, the two got into a quick altercation during a girls boat ride that was started out on a good note with drinking, laughs, and fun but ended in Porsha being kicked in the stomach by Cynthia and security swarming the boat.

In the same episode, we saw as the two were able to meet up later and apologize to each other and work out their differences. Now in an interview Cyn did with Bravo TV, she reveals that she feels she was to blame for the interaction blowing up and admits that it was her misdirected anger that she presented to Porsha that got them to that bad place.

Bravotv.com: What was going through your head after the confrontation with Porsha?
Cynthia Bailey: I was shell shocked, and honestly could not believe what had just happened. I didn’t know what to do, and I felt lost in the moment. This was my first physical altercation, and before I could process or react, the fight ended as quickly as it had started. An argument is one thing, but to actually get physical with another woman is a disgraceful situation. I needed to get away from everyone to regroup.

Unfortunately that never happened, which frustrated me even more. I was disappointed that I allowed myself to engage in a second argument, as opposed to walking away again. Looking back I ask myself, “What could I have done differently to prevent this from happening?” I accept full responsibility for my actions in this unfortunate incident. More than anything, I am grateful that neither Porsha nor I was seriously hurt. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson, and I have definitely grown from my mistake. It’s OK to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. Nobody is perfect.

Bravotv.com: Do you think you and Peter had a breakthrough during your conversation?
CB: This was a very stressful time for me. Peter and I had begun the process of repairing our relationship, and I was uncertain of the fate of our marriage. Regardless, he is still my husband. He was the obvious person to go to for advice, comfort, and support. It wasn’t until I had my conversation with Peter that I realized how much my marital issues had affected me, my everyday life, and my friendships. My frustrations were misdirected.

Bravotv.com: Were you and Porsha truly able to squash the issues between you?
CB: I am remorseful. I am thankful that we were able to sit down as women and agree to put this craziness behind us.
