Actor, Darius McCrary (who portrayed Eddie Winslow on the hit 90s sitcom on ‘Family Matters’) at critics after snaps from a recent photoshoot with trans reality star/personality, Sidney Starr went viral sparking ongoing dating rumors about the duo.
The images went viral on Monday after Sidney shared them on her social media and although it’s not clear whether the images are being used for an upcoming project or what specifically, they instantly got social media talking.

She also shared behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot that really got the people speculating.

As expected, social media took the posts as a public announcement that the two were dating and began running with the story on Twitter.

But for all the ignorance that was being spewed, there was also lots of support for both Darius and Sidney.

Social media from Twitter, to Instagram and specifically The Shade Room went crazy and as expected, there was a lot of transphobic commentary throughout prompting Darius to sound off.
The actor went live on Instagram, while at lunch with his TV mom, Jo Marie Payton (who played Harriette Winslow on ‘Family Matters’). Darius revealed that while he and Sidney are not specifically dating, he does support her and the trans community, saying that she is “family,” and he wants peole to stop spreading ignorance and rumors. He also revealed that he does already have a fiancee, although he did not reveal who that is.

In October 2020, Darius posted a video of Sidney dancing to his Instagram with the caption, “The #Undeniable@sidneystarrbad what’s understood don’t need to be explained xoxoxo …”
In another post on IG, he shared a shirtless selfie in bed, telling his fans goodnight, to which Sidney replied, “Sexy daddy goodnight xoxos.”
