All eyes were on which journalist/interviewer would land the sit down with now former LA Clippers owner and racist Donald Sterling. The prize (for lack of better words) went to Anderson Cooper who sat down with Sterling to discuss his headline making comments caught on video tape and released via TMZ weeks ago.
During “I’m not a racist/Apology’ interview to those who might care enough to hear it, the severely delusional and old racist did the complete opposite and took the opportunity to sling more mud to the black community, and in general. While speaking on Magic Johnson, who Sterling criticized in the leaked recording, the racist continued his tirade on Magic by reprimanding him for having ‘AIDS’ (not HIV) and spreading it, and even accused him of not giving back to his community. Sterling: What has he done, can you tell me? Big Magic Johnson, what has he done?
Cooper: Well, he’s a business person…
Sterling: He’s got AIDS. Did he do any business? Did he help anyone in South LA?
Cooper: Well I think he has HIV. He doesn’t actually have full-blown AIDS.
Sterling: Well, what kind of a guy goes to every city, has sex with every girl, then he catches HIV? Is that someone we want to respect and tell our kids about? I think he should be ashamed of himself. I think he should go into the background. But what does he do for the black people? He doesn’t do anything.
