The Essence Festival 2025 took place over the holiday weekend in New Orleans, showcasing some major performances as we previously told you.
A standout moment of the weekend was the closing night on Sunday, July 6, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of the “Waiting To Exhale” soundtrack.
As promised, the all-star tribute, directed by musical director Adam Blackstone, featured performances by Tamar Braxton, Keke Palmer, Yolanda Adams, Deborah Cox, Chante Moore, and others as they covered the iconic songs from the soundtrack.
