Following a week of bizarre behavior including last nights rant against Beyonce and Jay Z, and then this mornings announcement that his entire ‘Saint Pablo Tour’ was being cancelled completely, now more unfortunate news has surfaced on Monday evening (Nov.21) regarding Kanye West.

Kanye West has been taken to UCLA Medical Center for evaluation.

According to law enforcement sources cops responded to a call for a welfare check on Kanye around 1:20 PM PT.

We’re told paramedics also responded and ended up transporting Kanye to the hospital.

The hospitalization comes on the heels of Kanye abruptly cancelling the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour, and launching into a verbal attack on Jay Z and Beyonce.

Rap Up also reported that he was taken by force and initially resisted being transported.

The rapper was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation. According to law enforcement sources (via TMZ), LAPD responded to a medical welfare call about 1:20 p.m. Paramedics ended up transporting Kanye to the hospital by ambulance. He reportedly resisted and had to be restrained when transported.

He was reportedly being examined by one of his doctors for severe sleep deprivation when it was determined that he needed to be admitted.

The decision to hospitalize West was for his own health and safety, added the sources. No criminal activity was suspected.

Prayers to Kanye and his family, hopefully he will now get the rest and treatment he needs.
