On Tuesday night (Oct. 4), Hip Hop artist/actor, Kid Cudi posted via Facebook that he has checked himself into “rehab for depression and suicidal urges.”

He revealed that “anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it… I don’t trust anyone because of it and I’m tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace. I deserve to be happy and smiling.”

He also revealed that his rehab stint will cause him to be away for some time, so he won’t be able to promote his upcoming album, but confirmed “The album is still on the way.” He also apologized to fans for the heart breaking news. Get into the full statement below.
