After a messy fallout and breakup that played out over social media earlier this year, it looks like Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank have made amends and have reunited their super group, TGT.
The reunion went down last night (Sep 3) at the Greek Theater in LA, when Tank and Ginuwine were booked as solo respective acts, alongside Dru Hill, Guy and K-Ci & Jojo. Immediately when I saw the flyer, I suspected something would go down, and I was right.
Tank took to Instagram that night revealing that the guys had worked through their problems (for now) and were planning to try it one more time for the sake of their fans. He first shared one of their album promo photos along with the caption:
“We go through a lot with each other but every time we touch the stage together we all understand that this is worth fighting for! Tonight we stood on the first stage that we ever stood on for the second time! It was magic! We owe it to ourselves and to the fans of R&B music to get this right! We’re doing this for love!..”
He also shared a clip of their on stage reconciliation and performance.
As a fan of TGT, I am so here for it, and so ready for a new album from the guys. Here’s to a second try.
