Mariah Carey kicked off the campaign for her new album back in the Spring with the release of her Miguel assisted cut ‘Beautiful’. Unveiled in grand style the video was premiered toward the end of her judging season of American Idol. Perfect promo and time to release the album, and then everything stalled! The album was pushed back with no solid release date in sight.
Well today brings good news for her faithful lambs, as Carey posted the following snap below of her in the studio with Rodney Jerkins, good pal Jermaine Dupri, go to producer of the moment Mike Will Made It, and Hit Boy.
Last night in the studio, putting finishing touches on my album, cast and all lol/col. #excited!!!
Hopefully the gang can craft out some epic material in the caliber of that during the ‘Emancipation’ era.
